Common use of Conveyance of Rights Clause in Contracts

Conveyance of Rights. of-way, easements and improvements to City. All public Improvements shall be conveyed to the City at the time of initial acceptance. The documents of conveyance shall be in a form acceptable to the City and shall be furnished to the City Engineer or their designee, for recording. Developer shall reimburse the City for all costs of recording. At the City’s request, the Developer shall provide, at its expense, a policy of title insurance insuring title in the City, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, for all land, property, and easements dedicated or conveyed (except those easements that do not affect the City’s use of the property) to the City or for public use.
