Contractor Safety Representative. In order to form an integrated team to effectively provide safe services to the Owner, the Contractor shall provide the name and contact information of Contractor’s designated Safety Representative. This individual will have the responsibility and authority to ensure the Contractor’s implementation, compliance with, and enforcement of, the Contractor’s Safety Program and all applicable federal, state and local safety and health standards, rules and regulations. Owner reserves the right to require the Contractor to replace its designated Safety Representative if Owner determines the individual is not qualified, is ineffective or is not fulfilling all applicable safety and health responsibilities. Contractor shall conduct bi-monthly Toolbox talks to supplement the OSHA training efforts of their company or organization, and to keep safety front and center in their workers' minds. These are designed to heighten employee awareness of workplace hazards and supplement, not replace, OSHA regulations. These shall be bi-lingual if necessary.

Contractor Safety Representative. Contractor shall appoint a full time qualified Safety Representative who shall be responsible for initiating the Safety Program, ensuring that Site safety requirements and procedures are being communicated, conducting safety inspections of Services being performed, conducting weekly safety meetings with Contractor employees. Contractor Safety Representative. Contractor shall provide a full-time on-site safety representative per forty (40) employees on each project (Contractor and its subcontractors). The full-time on-site safety representative/s shall assist Contractor with the initiation, enforcement, maintenance, and administration of job site safety and other loss prevention programs associated with the Services. PREPA may request Contractor to provide a full-time safety representative for Services with fewer than 40 employees if PREPA determines the nature of the Services justify additional safety oversight. A risk analysis of the project will be performed to assist in determining this requirement.
