Common use of Contractor Procurement Clause in Contracts

Contractor Procurement. ‌ The contractor(s) will be procured through a competitive bid process overseen and managed by the City of Beaverton‘s project manager and Finance Department Director, but selected through review by a team of relevant city staff. The City of Beaverton prefers to select one primary environmental contractor to conduct the majority of the environmental assessment and cleanup planning activities for this project. A subcontractor may be necessary for the community engagement portions of this work plan. The City of Beaverton will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting qualified Brownfields Assessment Contractors/Contractors. These will be issued during the summer of 2019, with a due date of 30 days from issuance. The RFP will include the selection criteria and scoring procedure. Within 30 days of the due date, the team of city staff will make a recommendation for a contract award to the Economic Development Manager and Director of Community and Economic Development.‌
