Common use of Contract Extensions Clause in Contracts

Contract Extensions. Prior to the end of any year of the Contract, the Board and Superintendent may mutually agree to extend the employment of the Superintendent for a period not to exceed the maximum permitted by law provided all the performance and improvement goals contained in Article F, Section 2, have been met.

Contract Extensions. Prior to the end of any year January 1 of the ContractContract Year in which this Contract expires, the Board and the Superintendent may mutually agree to extend the employment of the Superintendent for a period not to exceed the maximum permitted by law provided all the performance and improvement goals contained in Article F, Section 2, paragraph E.2 have been met. In such event, the Board shall take specific action to enter into a new contract of employment with the Superintendent.
