Common use of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND DEFINITIONS Clause in Contracts

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND DEFINITIONS. The Notice to Bidders, Information for Bidders, Proposal, General Conditions, Contract, Specifications and Plans, together with any Addenda, shall form part of this Contract, and the provisions thereof shall be as binding upon the parties hereto as if they were herein fully set forth. The titles, headings, headlines and marginal notes contained herein are solely to facilitate reference to the various provisions of the contract documents and in no way affect, limit or cast light upon the interpretation of the provisions to which they refer. Whenever the term "contract documents" is used, it shall mean and include this Contract, the Plans, Specifications, any Addenda, and the Notice to Bidders, Information for Bidders, General Conditions and Proposal. In case of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of the Contract and those of the Specifications, the provisions of the Contract shall govern.
