Contract Controlling Clause Samples

The Contract Controlling clause establishes which contract or document takes precedence in the event of conflicting terms between multiple agreements. Typically, this clause specifies that the main contract will override any attachments, schedules, or referenced documents unless otherwise stated. By clearly identifying the controlling document, this clause ensures consistency and prevents disputes over which terms govern the parties' relationship.
