Contract Compliance Performance Mechanism. 3.1 Contract compliance measures There are six measures of compliance against the contract as detailed at Appendix A. Each measure is linked to an output from the service specification and has a target against which performance will be measured. Failure to reach the target will attract performance deduction points, the level of which will vary depending on the degree (percentage) of failure against the relevant target. Authority will review performance against these targets on a quarterly basis and depending on the overall total of performance deduction points awarded, remedial action may be required. The range of remedies available to the Authority is further described in section 4 of this document and critical shortfalls in performance will result in a financial deduction being applied.
