Continued Employment Beyond the Expiration of the Employment Term. Unless the parties otherwise agree in writing and as approved by the City Council, this Agreement shall be automatically extended on the same terms and conditions as herein provided for a period of one (1) year, and from year to year thereafter, following the expiration of the Term unless Employee or the City provides at least ninety (90) days’ written notice prior to the Term date or anniversary thereof to the other that said party does not wish to extend this Agreement for an additional one (1) year term.
