CONSTRUCTION SITE ALLOWANCES Clause Samples

The Construction Site Allowances clause defines specific budget amounts set aside within a construction contract for certain items or work whose exact costs are not yet determined at the time of agreement. These allowances typically cover materials, fixtures, or services where the final selection or scope may be decided later, such as flooring, lighting, or landscaping. The clause ensures that both parties have a clear understanding of provisional sums included in the contract price, helping to manage expectations and reduce disputes over cost adjustments as project details are finalized.
