Allowance Procedure. Up to 11 Up to £15.00 per single journey Expenses will be processed in line with the employer’s normal expenses reclaim procedure and on production of receipts. The standard will be second class public transport or equivalent, and taxis will be shared where reasonably possible. Between 11 and 25 Up to £52.50 per return journey As above Between 26 and 149 Up to £100 per return journey As above Over 150 miles Up to £125 per return journey As above save that the employee is not expected to return home and return the next day. Employees will be covered by life assurance to the value of £75,000.
Allowance Procedure. (a) The Site Allowance is paid as a flat hourly amount to compensate for all special factors and/or disabilities on a project and in lieu of any payment for confined space, wet work, dirty work, second-hand equipment and fumes.
(b) The Site Allowance is not paid in lieu of any other allowance prescribed by this Agreement.
(c) The Parties covered by this Agreement agree to consult where required to clarify whether work to be undertaken is considered to be construction activity for the purposes of this clause.
(d) No allowance is payable for any rail industry construction projects with a value lower than the lowest value prescribed by clause 4.11.3.
