Common use of Construction Inspection Clause in Contracts

Construction Inspection. If allowed under applicable grants and funding mechanisms, the selected Team may be tasked with performing periodic construction inspection throughout the life of the project. Periodic inspection reports will be maintained by the Team and provided upon request to the City. The Team will be responsible for coordinating pre-construction meeting, review of pay requests, and final punch list for construction closeout. The awarded contractor will comply will all applicable state and federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives. The Federal Government is not a party to the awarded contract and is not subject to any obligations or liabilities to the non-Federal entity, contractor, or any other party pertaining to any matter resulting from the contract. The contractor acknowledges that 31 U.S.C. Chap. 38 (Administrative Remedies for False Claims and Statements) applies to the contractor's actions pertaining to this contract. Federal requirements include, but are not limited to the following. In the event that the parties confirm that certain requirements do not apply to certain tasks, the parties will stipulate to that in the contract or task order.
