CONFIDENTIAL OPERATING MANUAL. 8.1. In order to protect the reputation and goodwill of Franchisor and to maintain high standards of operation under Franchisor's Proprietary Marks, Franchisee shall conduct its business in accordance with the Manual, which may consist of more than one volume. Franchisee acknowledges having received on loan from Franchisor one copy of such Manual for the term of this Agreement.
