COMPENSATION FOR UNUSED SICK LEAVE UPON TERMINATION OR RETIREMENT. A. All employees with 20,800 hours (approximately ten (10) ten years) or more of continuous County and/or District service shall upon retirement or termination, except discharge for cause, receive a payment of one hundred percent (100%) of their unused sick leave balance.
