COMPENSATION FOR EXTRA. DUTY, OVERTIME, & SUBSTITUTE WORK. Overtime or work beyond assigned hours shall be compensated only when the bargaining unit member has obtained approval from his/her supervisor or designee before the overtime is worked, except in emergency situations.
