Compactors. Contractor shall provide all wiring, hoses, modifications required to operate compactors shall be at no cost to the State. Compactors. FRANCHISEE shall coordinate with Customers leasing and purchasing Compactors to determine the appropriate size and type of Compactor that is serviceable by FRANCHISEE, and to ensure that such Compactors are watertight. Compactors purchased from FRANCHISEE shall be leak proof and sealed to prevent intrusion of storm water.
Compactors. Provide self-propelled steel drum vibratory rollers having a minimum static weight of 10 tons for primary compaction. Provide rollers equipped with controls that automatically disengage the vibration mechanism before the roller stops. For final compaction, use a combination of self-propelled steel drum roller, in static mode, and a rubber tire roller weighing between 4 and 10 tons as necessary to achieve an acceptable surface. Use walk-behind vibratory rollers or plate tampers for compacting areas inaccessible to the large rollers. Ensure that areas compacted with walk-behind equipment meet all requirements for compaction and surface quality. If sufficient compaction and texture cannot be achieved with walk-behind equipment, use conventional concrete in the inaccessible areas.
Compactors. Stationary compactors for handling solid waste shall comply with applicable federal, state and local safety regulations. No such compactor shall be loaded so as to exceed the safe loading design or operation limits of the collection vehicles used by the Franchisee. Compactors shall comply with all local, state and federal weight regulations or standards. A person who wishes services for a compactor should, prior to acquisition of such compactor, inquire of the Franchisee as to compatibility with the Franchisee’s equipment or equipment that the Franchisee is willing to acquire. In the event a weight violation occurs, all costs associated with such violation shall be the individual responsibility of both the generator and the owner of the compactor. The generator shall be responsible for insuring compatibility with the Franchisee’s equipment and all cost of retrofitting any collection equipment shall be the responsibility of the owner of the compactor.

The containers must be sealed and can be locked with a pad lock. The container must be able to hold liquids without leaking. Loading xxxxxx will be located at the rear. A safety gate and interlock cage door will be provided and will have a latch installed so unit can be locked with a padlock. Unit must be key operated with multi position switch on a 15-foot line, remote power pack with weather cover. Compactors must have odor reducing capabilities such as Sonazier Odor Control System. If the compactors do not work properly, it will be the responsibility of the Contractor to replace and/or repair the compactor at no additional charge to the State agency to the extent allowed by law. The Contractor must be responsible for all maintenance and repair of the compactors and containers. The electrical power requirements are 480 volt, three phase and available nearby. The Contractor will be required to connect the compacting equipment to the existing power switch. The Contractor must have the capability to exchange empty containers for full containers for all compactors listed on this contract during a scheduled and/or non-scheduled pickup. The Contractor will not be allowed to leave a compactor without a container at any time. Any electrical labor utilized for the installation of compactors that has Prevailing Wage requirements will be the responsibility of the State agency. The Contractor must work with the State agency to coordinate the installation of compactors on a mutually agreed upon deadline for installation.

  • Irrigation The City shall provide water to the Premises for the purpose of irrigating the facility. The City specifically reserves the right to restrict water usage under this Agreement if water restrictions are placed on other water users within the City. Prior to the start of the season, City will provide charge up and run through the automatic irrigation systems to check for proper operation. City will provide Lessee with a radio for remote operation of the irrigation system, which Lessee shall use for the day to day maintenance, repair, and monitoring of the irrigation system. If the radio is lost, stolen, broken, or is rendered unusable, Lessee shall pay $1500 for the replacement radio. City is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the following irrigation elements, to the extent applicable: curb stops, backflow prevention devices, backflow enclosures, main line pipings, electric control valves, and controllers. Lessee shall notify Parks Division Water managers by email if any of these irrigation elements are malfunctioning or broken.

  • Outdoor Lighting 3.8.1 Lighting shall be directed to driveways, parking areas, loading area, building entrances and walkways and shall be arranged so as to divert the light away from streets, adjacent lots and buildings.
