Commendations. For purposes of a promotional process, an assessment will occur of the commendations that the candidate has received. Variations in points should consider quality of performance that was commended, as well as quantity of commendations. For purpose of the promotional process, commendations will be considered over the previous 60 months beginning with any/all promotional process in 2018. Scores Category Definition – Within past 60 months 17, 18, 19, 20 Exceeds Expectations A total of four (4) or more commendations including two (2) “high level” commendations. These include commendations and/or awards for: acts of valor; acts of heroism; meritorious acts; lifesaving; Deputy of the Quarter; and/or Deputy of the Year. 14, 15, 16 Above Average A total of four (4) or more commendations. Must include at least one (1) “high level” commendation and three (3) or more additional commendations. 11, 12, 13 Meets Expectations A total of three (3) or more commendations. If more than three (3) but no “high level” commendations the applicant can score no higher than this category. 10 Falls Short of Expectations A total of two (2) or less commendations.

Considerations Comments in this area constitute advice to help the instructor surpass standards for specific criteria. They may also represent specific challenges the instructor has had to overcome. However, these suggestions do not require adoption and do not have any bearing on future evaluations.

However, they will be entered on NSS Connect for parental viewing. Eagle Cash As part of our PBIS initiative, students who demonstrate good behavior will have the opportunity to earn Eagle Cash! The more wings earned the greater or higher the student soars! Wings can be used to redeem prizes from the PBIS store. Semester Surprise! Students with zero disciplinary action each semester will receive special invitation to a school-wide activity to will celebrate their good choices.
