Common use of Commencement and Completion Dates Clause in Contracts

Commencement and Completion Dates. Contractor shall commence the Work not later than the “Commencement Date” set forth in Attachment A and shall diligently and continuously prosecute the Work at such a rate as will allow the Work to be fully provided, performed, and completed in full compliance with this Contract not later than the “Completion Date,” and all Interim Dates set forth in Attachment A. The time of commencement, rate of progress, and time of completion are referred to in this Contract as the “Contract Time.”
