Commencement and Completion Dates. 2.1 The Work of this Contract shall commence no sooner than the date this document is executed by the approval authority, or a subsequent date designated in the contract documents.
Commencement and Completion Dates. Contractor shall commence the Work not later than the “Commencement Date” set forth in Attachment A and shall diligently and continuously prosecute the Work at such a rate as will allow the Work to be fully provided, performed, and completed in full compliance with this Contract not later than the “Completion Date,” and all Interim Dates set forth in Attachment A. The time of commencement, rate of progress, and time of completion are referred to in this Contract as the “Contract Time.”

On or before August 21, 2000 (as extended due to any Initial Delays) (which date is referred to herein as the "Construction Date"), Lessor shall, at Lessor's sole cost and expense, commence the on-site physical construction of the Improvements. From and after the Construction Date, Lessor shall use diligent efforts to cause Substantial Completion of the Improvements in accordance with the Construction Documents to occur on or before September 15, 2000 (the "Scheduled Completion Date").

Commencement and Completion Dates. The Contract shall come into full force and effect upon the MTA's issuance of the Notice of Award. All timelines and milestones for the SI's completion of Work (including dates for Beneficial Use Certifications, Substantial Completion, Final Completion and all other milestones) shall be computed beginning on the date of the Notice to Proceed. The SI shall begin performing the Work upon its receipt of the Notice to Proceed and, subject to Section 32 (Changes in Work; Change Orders), the SI shall ensure that the NFPS has met all the criteria for Substantial Completion within sixty-nine (69) months following the date on which the NTP is issued (the "Substantial Completion Date").
Commencement and Completion Dates. The Company expects to commence and complete construction of the Project in accordance with the schedule set forth on Exhibit E, subject to Force Majeure, material delay in obtaining the Release of Mortgage, and extension granted by a resolution adopted by the governing body of the Issuer at the Company’s written request.

Subject to Sections 2.2 and 2.3 below, Developer shall (i) commence with construction and installation of the Works of Improvement thirty (30) days following City’s approval of the Plans (“Commencement Date”); and (ii) complete or cause to be completed all of the Works of Improvement within two (2) years after the Commencement Date. In the event good cause exists as determined by the City Engineer, the time for commencement of construction or completion of the Works of Improvement hereunder may be extended by up to three (3) additional one-year periods. Extensions shall be executed in writing by the City Engineer. The City Engineer in his or her sole discretion determines whether or not the Developer has established good cause for an extension. As a condition of such extension, the City Engineer may require Developer to furnish new security guaranteeing performance of this Agreement, as extended, in an increased amount to compensate for any increase in construction costs as determined by the City Engineer. If Developer requests and is granted an extension of time for completion of the improvements, City may apply the standards in effect at the time of the extension.
