Collusion or Coercion Clause Samples
The Collusion or Coercion clause is designed to prohibit parties from engaging in secret agreements or using undue pressure to influence the outcome of a contract or transaction. In practice, this clause applies to situations where parties might attempt to manipulate bidding processes, pricing, or decision-making through behind-the-scenes arrangements or threats. By explicitly forbidding such behavior, the clause helps ensure fairness, transparency, and integrity in contractual dealings, thereby protecting all parties from unfair advantage or manipulation.
