The Code Change Updates clause establishes the process for handling modifications to applicable codes, laws, or regulations that may affect the project or agreement. Typically, this clause requires parties to notify each other of relevant changes and may outline procedures for adjusting project requirements, timelines, or costs to remain compliant. Its core function is to ensure that all parties remain up-to-date and in compliance with evolving legal or regulatory standards, thereby reducing the risk of non-compliance and associated penalties.
Code Change Updates. Payor utilizes nationally recognized coding structures (including, without limitation, revenue codes, CPT codes, HCPCS codes, ICD codes, national drug codes, ASA relative values, etc., or their successors) for basic coding and descriptions of the services rendered. Updates to billing-related codes shall become effective on the date (“Code Change Effective Date”) that is the later of: (i) the first day of the month following sixty (60) days after publication by the governmental agency having authority over the applicable Product of such governmental agency’s acceptance of such code updates, (ii) the effective date of such code updates as determined by such governmental agency or (iii) if a date is not established by such governmental agency or the applicable Product is not regulated by such governmental agency, the date that changes are made to nationally recognized codes. Such updates may include changes to service groupings. Claims processed prior to the Code Change Effective Date shall not be reprocessed to reflect any such code updates.
Code Change Updates. Updates to billing-related codes (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, DRG, revenue codes, etc.) will become effective on the date that is the later of: (a) the first day of the month following thirty (30) days after publication of acceptance of the code updates by the Government Authority having authority over the Medicaid Program; or (b) the effective date of the code updates, as determined by the Government Authority. Claims processed prior to the effective date of code updates will not be reprocessed to reflect code updates.

  • Disclosure Updates Promptly and in no event later than 5 Business Days after obtaining knowledge thereof, notify Agent if any written information, exhibit, or report furnished to the Lender Group contained, at the time it was furnished, any untrue statement of a material fact or omitted to state any material fact necessary to make the statements contained therein not misleading in light of the circumstances in which made.   • NETWORK CHANGES 3.1. Sprint shall provide notice of network changes and upgrades in accordance with §§ 51.325 through 51.335 of Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Sprint may discontinue any interconnection arrangement, Telecommunications Service, or Network Element provided or required hereunder due to network changes or upgrades after providing CLEC notice as required by this Section. Sprint agrees to cooperate with CLEC and/or the appropriate regulatory body in any transition resulting from such discontinuation of service and to minimize the impact to customers, which may result from such discontinuance of service.
