CLASSIFICATION AND JOB EVALUATION PROCEDURE Clause Samples

The Classification and Job Evaluation Procedure clause establishes the process by which positions within an organization are assessed and assigned to specific job categories or grades. This typically involves evaluating the duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required for each role, often using standardized criteria or a job evaluation committee. By providing a structured method for classifying jobs, this clause ensures consistency and fairness in how positions are valued and compensated, helping to prevent disputes over job status and pay equity.
