Class Materials. Successful proposer(s) shall provide materials for courses. This includes preparing all participant materials (guides, handouts, exercises, books, job aides, etc.) that: Provide key content related to the course topics that are current, relevant and geared towards working public sector professionals. If applicable, include a Resource page where participants can obtain additional information on the topic (websites, books, professional associations, blogs, etc.). Make certain that no copyright permissions are violated. Make use of appropriate audio/visual equipment. Trainers/Instructors Trainers provided and assigned shall be high quality instructors on a consistent basis to deliver training as needed by the Court. Trainers should have knowledge of and experience with audio/visual equipment and technology. Instructor shall demonstrate active listening and facilitation skills, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and speak effectively before large and small groups. Performance/Quality Standards Contractor will: Provide feedback surveys and attendance records to the Court Project Manager upon request. Class Cancellation Policy Court will make every effort to cancel or reschedule a class scheduled with as much notice as possible. However, the Court will not be assessed a charge for missed classes. All reservation and/or paid classes shall be transferrable.

  • Stored Materials The Department shall not be required to pay for materials stored at the site or stored at other locations absent prior written authorization to do so, which authorization may be withheld at the Department's sole discretion. If the Department expressly agrees to pay for materials stored at the site but not yet incorporated into the Work, the Application for Payment may also include a request for payment of the cost of such materials, if the materials have been delivered to the site, and suitably stored. Such requests shall be documented by appropriate invoices and bills of sale. Payment for stored materials shall be conditioned also on the Design-Builder’s representation that it has inspected the material and found it to be free from defect and otherwise in conformity with this Agreement, and on satisfactory evidence that the materials are insured under the builder’s risk policy. Further, if the Design-Builder requests the Department to allow payments for storage of materials offsite, the Design-Builder shall be required, inter alia, to agree to execution of proper documentation to afford the Department a secured interest in the materials upon payment.

  • Instructional Materials A. The Board recognizes that appropriate texts, library reference facilities, maps and globes, laboratory equipment, audio-visual equipment, art supplies, athletic equipment, current periodicals, standard tests and questionnaires, computers, and similar materials are the tools of the teaching profession.
