Common use of Civil Design Clause in Contracts

Civil Design. The Engineer will perform the design and plan production in accordance with the approved schedule. The Design will include the Preliminary and the Final Design for existing bridges to be replaced on ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ Street at Fairchilds Creek Tributary. Plans will be submitted to FORT BEND COUNTY for review and approval at 30%, 95% and 100% design stages. The Design will include the following; A. Roadway Design for Bridge Approach 1) Engineer shall develop plan and profile drawings for the roadway to establish the proposed roadway grades approaching each bridge abutment. This design shall be in coordination with the H&H analysis conducted and the elevation established for the proposed bridge replacement. 2) Approach design shall be in accordance with Fort Bend County Roadway Desing Criteria. B. Temporary Road Crossing Fairchilds Creek Tributary 1) A temporary crossing of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Creek Tributary shall be designed and provided for this location to allow access to residents during construction of the bridge on ▇▇▇ White Street. Temporary design shall include temporary culvert, backfill and paving allowing residents access during the proposed construction at ▇▇▇ White Street.
