Citizenship Leave. Upon ten (10) days prior notice to the Employer, an Employee, who would otherwise have been at work, shall be granted up to one (1) day leave of absence with pay to attend swearing-in ceremonies at Citizenship Court for the purpose of the Employee becoming a Canadian citizen.
