Common use of Choice of Laws, Jurisdiction and Venue of Disputes and Waiver of Jury Trial Clause in Contracts

Choice of Laws, Jurisdiction and Venue of Disputes and Waiver of Jury Trial. This Charter is made and entered into in the County and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the State. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any litigation between the parties arising out of or related to this Charter, shall be the Circuit Court, the County Court in and for the County, or the appropriate appellate or federal court except as otherwise provided for resolution of disputes pursuant to section 1002.33(7)(b), Florida Statutes. The parties forever waive the right to trial by jury for any and all litigation between the parties arising out of or related to this Charter. The parties agree to have any such dispute settled by a judge alone, without a jury.
