CHECK FEE Sample Clauses

The Check Fee clause establishes a specific charge that must be paid when a payment is made by check. Typically, this fee is applied to cover the administrative costs or processing expenses associated with handling check payments, and it may be a flat amount or a percentage of the transaction. By including this clause, the agreement ensures that the party receiving payment is compensated for the additional effort or risk involved in processing checks, thereby discouraging inefficient payment methods and clarifying the financial obligations of the parties.
