Cheating. Anyone caught cheating in any NE BASSIN event will be immediately banned from fishing any NEBKS event in the future. We reserve the right to have a random truth verification test performed at any time. You may not use a cell phone to gain an advantage over the rest of the competitors.
Cheating. A student shall not obtain by fraudulent, dishonest or deceptive means and use as his or her own (or provide to another student) the work, work product, questions on or answers to examinations, or any like matters or violate the reasonable requirements of a teacher with respect to the conduct and taking of examinations or the completion of other course assignments.
Cheating. UU You agree that all work submitted by You in completing any and all components of the Certification Exam and in satisfaction of the Certification Requirements, including Certification Exam answers, assignments, and personal registration information is entirely Your own. Cheating in school could include oral communication during a quiz or test, looking at a peer's paper during a test, or using a "cheat sheet" or any other written or electronic aid during a testing situation. Other examples include copying another's homework or any other violation of honesty used to gain credit or reward through deception or trickery.

Cheating. Cheating is giving or receiving any form of help on a test or assignment (this excludes tutorial help in studying or attempting to understand a concept). Any of the following behaviors will be construed as cheating: • communicating with anyone other than the teacher during a test • sharing information about a test with anyone who has not yet taken the test or receiving information from someone who has already taken the test • having in possession during a test materials which have not been approved by the teacher • looking on another student’s paper or at other materials so as to indicate a desire to gather information concerning the test • use of electronic devices to obtain information about a test • bringing to the testing area, or possessing in the testing area, any materials which indicate intent to cheat • plagiarizing, that is, using another person’s words, style, or ideas without giving proper credit, which includes the use of quotation marks and proper documentation • homework should be done by each individual student so the teacher may determine the progress of each student; copying and/or allowing someone to copy homework are considered cheating • taking credit for assignments completed by others • when submitting a paper, students should use the program “Turn It In” to insure their paper does not exceed 25% of plagiarized content.

Consequences of Cheating A student discovered cheating will receive in-school suspension for one day and they will receive a zero for that assignment. If the student is discovered cheating a second time they will fail the course for the nine weeks in which the discovery was found. A third discovery of cheating may result in expulsion. Electronic Devices No visible cell phones, iPods, tablets, earbuds, Apple phones or any other electronic signaling device on campus during school hours 7:30-3:07. Cell phones are not to be used in any school areas. Earbuds may be used with school issued Chrombooks at teacher discretion. A student who is discovered using a cell phone or any other electronic signaling device for purposes of cheating will be dealt with the same as if the cheating occurred in a conventional manner. Transmitting inappropriate messages or pictures via an electronic device will result in suspension and or expulsion. Canton Academy will not be responsible for any lost or stolen electronic devices. Cheating. Don't cheat. Anyone who violates these rules will be disqualified from the Derby, will be banned from all other CCA derbies for life, and will be reported to the CCA national office with recommendation for expulsion from CCA. Further, CCA intends to report to law enforcement and/or legally prosecute any participant who intentionally violates the rules of the Derby with intent to secure pecuniary gain. Any individual who registers for this derby consents to take a polygraph test to verify compliance with these rules. The determination of the Derby Committee regarding interpretation of derby rules and compliance or non- compliance by a participant therewith shall be final, binding and non-appealable. PRIZES: Participants shall be eligible to win only one prize in this Derby. The Derby Committee shall designate the prize (or its equivalent) for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in the large fish category. All decisions of the Derby Committee are final and not subject to appeal. YOUTH PARTICIPANT RULES: CCA members under the age of 18 years old may compete. All the rules, releases and indemnity agreements and eligibility for the Derby apply to the Youth participant. The youth participant must have a banquet ticket for the 2019 Willamette Falls CCA Banquet on APRIL 6, 2019. All prizes will be awarded in "Banquet Bucks" to be used only at the Banquet. will be awarded to winners at the beginning of the Annual Willamette Falls CCA Banquet on APRIL 6, 2019. All prizes OTHER RULES: If a participant under 18 years of age wins a prize, his or her legal representative over 18 years of age will receive the prize on his/her behalf. Any protests must be submitted, in writing, to the Derby Committee at 00000 XX 00xx Xx #0000, Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx 00000, by 5:00 PM on APRIL 9, 2019. The decision of the Derby Committee, in its sole discretion, shall be final on any and all matters and not subject to appeal. In the event of litigation between a participant and CCA arising out of any aspect whatsoever of the Derby, the losing party in said litigation shall be bound to pay all attorneys fees, expenses of litigation, court costs and other costs incurred by and relating to the litigation by the winning party in said litigation. All prize winners are solely responsible for payment of any applicable taxes, fees and costs associated with the prize. All prize winners are responsible for processing, registration and tax documentation in a timely fashion.
