Changing Status. (a) An auxiliary employee who is appointed as a regular employee to a classification on the same grid level, provided their break in service has not exceeded thirty (30) days, shall retain the same increment step they had earned as an auxiliary employee, and time worked towards receiving an increment under Clause 29.12 (Increments) will be used in determining the employee’s increment date under Clause 27.03 (Increment Dates) of this Agreement.
