Change in Coverage of a Spouse or Dependent Under Another Employer’s Plan. If there is a change in coverage of a spouse, former spouse, or Dependent under another employer’s plan, a Participant may make a prospective election change that is on account of and corresponds with a change made under the plan of the spouse or Dependent. This rule applies if (1) mandatory changes in coverage are initiated by either the insurer of spouse’s plan or by the spouse’s employer, or (2) optional changes are initiated by the spouse’s employer or by the spouse through open enrollment.
