Common use of Chair of the MSC Clause in Contracts

Chair of the MSC. (a) It is acknowledged that subsection 3(4) of the Medicare Protection Act requires the Lieutenant Governor in Council to designate a member of the MSC appointed to represent the Government as the Chair of the MSC. The Minister will Consult with the Doctors of BC prior to the appointment or reappointment of the Chair of the MSC.
