Caulking. Butyl rubber caulking compound for exterior use shall be 1-part polymerized rubber compound, gun consistency, conforming to federal specification TT-C 598 grade one. Acrylic caulking compound for interior use shall be a 1-part, 100% liquid polymer, acrylic base compound, and non-sagging, non-staining, gun consistency. Polysulfide base compound for exterior use shall be a 1-component sealing compound complying with the requirements of USIA A116.1, Class B (non-sagging) and federal specification TT-S227B, Types I and II. Containers shall bear the Thiokol Chemical Corp. “Tested and Approved” seal or shall be accompanied by a manufacturer’s certificate stating that the compound complies with this standard.
Caulking acceptable product is Marco - Metal Roofing, Polymer Sealant, and to match roof colour, or approved equal;
Caulking. Non-hardening type, suitable for exterior use’ compatible with the substance to which it is applied; to CAN/CGSB standards.
Caulking. Exterior caulking and interior caulking in bathtubs, shower stalls, and ceramic tile surfaces will crack or bleed somewhat in the months after installation. These conditions are normal and are not considered a problem. Any maintenance or repairs resulting from them are Buyer’s responsibility.

Caulking. All perimeter joints are to be inspected for deterioration, cracking, splitting and loss of adhesion by the contractor. Where above signs are present the existing caulking shall be removed as well as any dirt or foreign matter left behind. After the area is cleaned and free of debris, then properly seal with XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX 55 YEAR ACRYLIC SILICONIZED CAULKING (C-1100A), according to the manufacturers recommendations. The Contractor shall seal all perimeter joints around windows and doors, all stucco bands, expansion joints, or other areas where water intrusion may result. Tool after application.
Caulking. A Sealant applied typically over Xxxxxx Xxx to form an airtight seal between the outer perimeter of the Window or door frame and the building structure.
Caulking weatherstripping; reglazing and repainting of windows; repair, replacement or installation of storm windows (exterior, interior, metal or wood) provided they match the historic shape and size of the historic prime windows and that the meeting rail coincides with that of the prime window. Color should match trim, if possible.
