Common use of Canine Handler Clause in Contracts

Canine Handler. Canine Handlers shall receive Specialty I compensation 4 as the offset for the daily care and maintenance of the police canine. Canine Handlers 5 shall be responsible for the performance and effectiveness of their canine. Handlers shall 6 be required to provide and document 20 hours per month of on-duty training at regular 7 intervals and 10 hours of off-duty training per month of their police canine. All on-duty 8 training of the police canine will be scheduled by the Handler’s respective shift

Canine Handlers 5 14 shall be responsible for the performance and effectiveness of their canine. Handlers shall 6 15 be required to provide and document 20 twenty (20) hours per month of on-duty training at 16 regular 7 intervals and 10 ten (10) hours of off-duty training per month of their police canine. 17 All on-duty 8 training of the police canine will be scheduled by the Handler’s respective shift18 shift commander. The ten (10) hours of off-duty training per month shall be 19 compensated at time and one-half (1-1/2) for each overtime hour worked. 1 ARTICLE 6
