Canine – Extraordinary Work. All extraordinary work involving the canine handler shall be compensated at time and one-half. Extraordinary work includes, but is not limited to, unanticipated trips for emergency veterinary care, special training not normally conducted on a daily or scheduled basis, and any work which causes a substantial increase in work time beyond what is compensated Section 6.5.1.1 described above. Overtime for such work must be approved in advance.
