Call-Out Emergency Overtime. ‌ When, because of an emergency, an employee is called out to work overtime, he shall be paid for a minimum of four (4) hours, the first two (2) at one and one-half (1 1/2) times and the remaining two (2) hours at double (2x) times the basic hourly rate. Should an emergency situation develop at the time of an inspection of school buildings, as provided for in clause 14.7, an employee shall be paid the applicable amount for the inspection as provided in clause 14.6, plus one and one-half (1 1/2) times the basic hourly rate for the first two (2) hours and the remaining two (2) hours at double (2x) time, for calculation of overtime.

  • Emergency Overtime In the event of an emergency as defined in Section 13.15 notwithstanding the terms of this Article, the Agency Head or designee may assign someone to temporarily meet the emergency requirements, regardless of the overtime distribution.
