Common use of CAISO Controlled Grid Clause in Contracts

CAISO Controlled Grid. The system of transmission lines and associated facilities of the parties to a Transmission Control Agreement that have been placed under the CAISO’s Operational Control. CAISO Tariff – The CAISO’s tariff, as filed with FERC, and as amended or supplemented from time to time, or any successor tariff. Material Modification – A modification that has a material impact on the cost or timing of any Interconnection Request or any other valid interconnection request with a later queue priority date. Merchant Network Upgrades – Network Upgrades constructed and owned by an Interconnection Customer pursuant to Article 5.2.1 of this SGIA, Section 13.3 of the GIDAP, and Sections 24.4.6.1 and 36.11 of the CAISO Tariff. Network Upgrades – Additions, modifications, and upgrades to the Participating TO's Transmission System required at or beyond the point at which the Small Generating Facility interconnects with the CAISO Controlled Grid to accommodate the interconnection of the Small Generating Facility with the CAISO Controlled Grid. Network Upgrades do not include Distribution Upgrades.
