Bus Driving. Under no conditions shall a teacher be required to drive a school bus as part of his regular assignment.
Bus Driving. When the school buses are used for school activities, the coaches or sponsors will not drive them except in emergencies or by their own option. A coach or sponsor who drives any school bus shall be properly qualified.

Driving opportunity should be distributed equitably between ALL qualified shop personnel, not just according to the shift worked or the job position held. b. Driving incentive rosters are separate from shop overtime rosters. Personnel eligible for driving time are also eligible for shop overtime for the services they are qualified to perform.

Each coach or sponsor who volunteers to drive must have an activity bus operator's permit as per NDE Rule 31 including a CDL license. 6d) Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC) Teachers may not be excused from a date set by the administration for “Parent Teacher Conferences” (PTC). If a staff member does not attend the PTC’s, such failure will be considered a breach of the staff member’s employment contract and will result in a reduction in the Staff member’s salary at a rate of $250 for each night of PTC missed. This rate will not be prorated. If a teacher decides to still miss a PTC, they have to make up the equivalent for 4 hours for each night of PTC missed. These hours MUST be scheduled AFTER school hours and must be submitted to the superintendent for approval prior to completing said hours. Teachers must then submit verification of completed hours to the superintendent. In the case of NCC/NSAA scheduled events, only coaches/sponsors who are required to attend these events that are scheduled on the same night as PTC, will be excused from any sort of penalty. In the case of an emergency situation, pending approval from the superintendent, a teacher may be excused from PTCs and will be excused from the aforementioned penalties.
Bus Driving. It is agreed that the Employer may assign such employees that hold bus driver's licenses lo such duty during their regular working hours for trips between buildings or or less than one hour duration.

Bus Driving. 1. Members of the bargaining unit may voluntarily agree to become trained and licensed to be available for temporary assignment as bus drivers. 2. Employees will be considered to be “in the pool of potential drivers” when they have successfully passed the state road test. If an Employee is off on a paid or unpaid leave of thirty (30) calendar days or longer, h/she will not be considered to be “in the pool of potential drivers” until able to return to active duty as a driver. 3. Employees who voluntarily agree to such assignment shall be paid a stipend of $150 on the first paycheck of each calendar month following the month an Employee is in the pool of potential drivers. 4. The stipend payment for any partial months (including the first and last months) will be five dollars ($5.00) for each calendar day the Employee was in the pool of potential drivers. 5. While driving a bus, employees shall be paid the RTC bus driver “scale 1” hourly rate or their current hourly rate, whichever is greater. 6. The Employer will determine the number of Employees to be placed in the pool. Additional Employees shall be placed in the pool by seniority unless there is sufficient reason to deny placement. The Employer may not unreasonably deny an Employee who volunteers for such duty. 7. Training will be scheduled and funded by the District. Employees will be released to attend training and testing. Additionally, the Employer will fund the cost of all certification, license renewal, insurances, etc. 8. Employees who become trained and licensed must make themselves available, per paragraph 9 below, for temporary driver assignments as needed. The Employer shall notify the Employee of the need for the temporary assignment as soon as the need is known. 9. To the extent possible and reasonable, temporary driver assignments shall be fairly shared among the list of CDL licensed Employees on the temporary driver assignment list. Assignments shall be reasonable to the hours the Employee works. 10. Employees may reject such temporary assignments only for reasons that cannot be avoided. Examples: illness, previous commitment that cannot be changed, etc. When assigned to on–call duty, Employees shall not be considered available for temporary driver assignment unless other arrangements can be made to cover on-call events. Employees who are on sick leave, vacation, personal business leave, bereavement leave, etc. shall not be expected to accept assignments scheduled on days they will not be ...
Bus Driving. Bus drivers shall be provided, whenever possible, for all school related bus trips.

  • Bus Drivers The provisions of this Article apply to school term bus drivers except as hereinafter modified. Bus Drivers are guaranteed a base of one thousand and ninety (1090) hours per school year. Guarantee consists of 1090 hours divided by possible working days in a school year times actual number of days worked. This excludes Saturday and Sunday and General Holiday trips. (a) Regular shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers to school in the morning and home in the afternoon. (b) Extra shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers for extra-curricular activities. (c) Shifts shall be paid at a minimum of two (2) hours and drivers' time will be uninterrupted if less than one-half (½) hour remains between shifts. (i) Drivers are entitled to one 15 minute rest period after two (2) hours of work and a second rest period after six (6) hours of work. Paid waiting times of 15 minutes or more will be construed as a paid rest period regardless of the length of time spent waiting. (d) All work after nineteen hundred (1900) hours on those days on which the regular shift has been worked shall be deemed to be overtime. After twelve (12) hours from the start of the regular shift, work will be deemed as overtime. (e) Hours of work consisting of regular and extra shifts and overtime are shared as equally as possible amongst drivers. Each driver has the opportunity to choose a percentage of the work available beyond one’s guaranteed hours, although the decision of the Employer will prevail. If no drivers are available, other transportation department staff may share the work. (f) Where School District transportation is used for extra-curricular trips on Saturdays and Sundays, the following applies instead of the overtime rates in Article 10.2: (i) Time and one-half (1 ½) regular rate for driving to and from destination. (ii) Upon arrival at destination, waiting time shall be paid at the regular rate of pay. (iii) No shift will be paid less than four (4) hours. (iv) Trips that are cancelled where the driver positions into departure point/school shall be paid at two (2) hours at one and one half (1 ½) times the regular rate. (v) All work carried out in this sub paragraph 9.5(f) shall be on a volunteer basis and shared as equally as possible. All Transportation employees may participate and shall be paid at the Bus Driver rate of pay. (vi) An exception to 9.5 (f) (i) to (iv) above will apply to bus driving on ski trips. Bus drivers who drive on ski trips shall share those hours only with other registered ski trip drivers. (g) Work carried out on General Holidays shall be paid in accordance with the current contract rates. (h) At the end of each school year a review of school bus drivers’ hours of work will be made to ensure minimum guarantee is met. Any shortages will be paid out.

  • Dewatering (a) Where the whole of a site is so affected by surface water following a period of rain that all productive work is suspended by agreement of the Parties, then dewatering shall proceed as above with Employees so engaged being paid at penalty rates as is the case for safety rectification work. This work is typically performed by Employees engaged within CW1, CW2 or CW3 classifications. When other Employees are undertaking productive work in an area or areas not so affected then dewatering will only attract single time rates. (b) Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, appropriate Employees shall assist in the tidying up of their own work site or area if it is so affected. Where required, appropriate Employees will be provided with the appropriate PPE. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected. (c) To avoid any confusion any ‘dewatering’ time which prevents an Employee from being engaged in their normal productive work is not included in any calculation for the purposes of determining whether an Employee is entitled to go home due to wet weather (refer clauses 32.4 and 32.5)

  • Traffic Management 9.2.1 During the Operating Period, Developer shall be responsible for the general management of traffic on the Project. Developer shall manage traffic so as to preserve and protect safety of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities and, to the maximum extent practicable, to avoid disruption, interruption or other adverse effects on traffic flow, throughput or level of service on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities. Developer shall conduct traffic management in accordance with all applicable Technical Provisions, Technical Documents, Laws and Governmental Approvals, and in accordance with the Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.2 Developer shall prepare and submit to TxDOT and the Independent Engineer for TxDOT approval a Traffic Management Plan for managing traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities after the commencement of traffic operations on any portion of the Project, addressing (a) orderly and safe movement and diversion of traffic on Related Transportation Facilities during Project construction, (b) orderly and safe movement of traffic on the Project and (c) orderly and safe diversion of traffic on the Project and Related Transportation Facilities necessary in connection with field maintenance and repair work or Renewal Work or in response to Incidents, Emergencies and lane closures. Developer shall prepare the Traffic Management Plan according to the schedule set forth in the Technical Provisions. The Traffic Management Plan shall comply with the Technical Provisions and Technical Documents concerning traffic management and traffic operations. Developer shall carry out all traffic management during the Term in accordance with the approved Traffic Management Plan. 9.2.3 Developer shall implement the Traffic Management Plan to promote safe and efficient operation of the Project and Related Transportation Facilities at all times during the course of any construction or operation of the Project and during the Utility Adjustment Work. 9.2.4 TxDOT shall have at all times, without obligation or liability to Developer, the right 9.2.4.1 Issue Directive Letters to Developer regarding traffic management 9.2.4.2 Provide on the Project, via message signs or other means consistent with Good Industry Practice, non-Discriminatory traveler and driver information, and other public information (e.g. amber alerts), provided that the means to disseminate such information does not materially interfere with the functioning of the ETCS.

  • Virus Management DST shall maintain a malware protection program designed to deter malware infections, detect the presence of malware within DST environment.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.
