Bus Cleaning. Drivers, at their option individually, shall be paid their daily rate of pay for cleaning busses at school year end, four (4) hours maximum for a sixty-five (65) passenger bus, three (3) hours maximum for a forty-seven (47) passenger bus, and two (2) hours maximum for smaller busses. The Board shall post as extra work summer bus cleaning for the hours cited above at the rate paid at Step O of the Bus Driver pay scale for the buses of any drivers who opt not to clean them.
Bus Cleaning. All drivers shall be responsible for the cleaning of any and all buses they drive. (see Section 24.1, Classifications and Rates of Pay)
Bus Cleaning. Drivers will be paid up to one (1) hour each week at the driving time rate for inside cleaning and fueling their buses/vans.
Bus Cleaning. Inspection: The interior of the bus shall be swept daily at the end of each day by the driver. Each driver shall receive twenty five (25) minutes per day for bus inspection and clean up. Bus inspection is to include lights, tires, oil, fuel, gauges, belts, seats for damage, body scratches, dents, and to ensure that all students have exited the bus.
Bus Cleaning. During the school year, the drivers shall maintain reasonable cleanliness, weather permitting. Drivers shall be paid for up to two (2) additional hours per month at their regular rate of pay for cleaning their buses based upon established criteria and supervisor approval.
Bus Cleaning. Section 7.1 All bus drivers will be responsible for end-of-year bus cleaning . They will receive up to two (2) hours of pay for small buses, up to two-and-one-half (2.5) hours of pay for mid- size buses, and up to three (3) hours of pay for large buses. ARTICLE VI
Bus Cleaning. Drivers will be allowed a minimum of one (1) hour twice monthly for the purpose of doing a thorough exterior and interior cleaning of their bus during the periods of September through November and January through May, and one (1) additional hour in the months of December and June. Drivers must record the time on their timesheet when the task is completed. Any extra time must be approved by the supervisor.
Bus Cleaning. 27.1 The Board agrees to supply cleaning supplies necessary for the final cleaning of school buses at the end of the school year.
Bus Cleaning. The District also clarified with its Director of Transportation its expectations for the frequency and extent of the cleaning of buses, including outside washing and interior sweeping. Drivers must keep the dash, floors, windows and outside clean throughout the year and, at year end turn in a bus so cleaned and sufficient for DOT inspection. The Director of Transportation will list current DOT inspection requirements and provide the list to drivers as soon as practical but no later than February 1,2001. (If NYS DOT regulations change, drivers will be notified.)
Bus Cleaning. The bus must be returned in a CLEAN condition; similar to the condition it is in when picked up. Specifically, it is required that: all rubbish is removed seats are wiped the floor is swept if muddy, the exterior and floor are to be washed. Ensure that the buses are not driven through an automatic car wash or driven into a commercial parking station as these have height restrictions and damage can easily occur. If the bus is left in an unsatisfactory condition, the cost of cleaning will be invoiced to the user. Vehicle condition reporting and refueling Please refer to the document titled “Steps to be followed by the drivers of Xxxxxxxx Community Bus”. This document is found beside the bus console within the vehicle along with a vehicle condition register, and a damage chart showing the existing damages. Copies of unmarked damage charts are also available in the console to record any further incidents. Any noticeable condition (e.g. Brakes, lights, etc.) must be recorded in the vehicle condition register and new damages noted on a new damage chart and placed in the bus with driver’s name and date of the inspection. An incident report on any new damages must be sent via email to xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.vic.gov.au with photos if possible at the beginning of the journey. If there are no damages identified, the driver is still required to sign off the bus damage chart. If any new damages are reported by the nominated driver at the beginning of the journey, after satisfactory investigation by Xxxxxxxx City Council, the organisation who hired the bus prior will be contacted and may be liable for damages.
