Common use of Bridge Inspection Photographs Clause in Contracts

Bridge Inspection Photographs. The Engineer shall provide color photo documentation using digital photographs having a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch. The photos must be true aspect prints, clear, in focus, and free of blur and pixilation. The Engineer shall present the photos on 8 ½ inch x 11 inch paper with two photos per page. For each photo the Engineer shall include a caption noting the photo title, direction the viewer is facing, and description of each photo. These photo pages must show the Prime Engineering Firm name, contract number, bridge identification number, and inspection date. Photo numbering is permitted but not required. Photographs shall be oriented on the pages with the long axis in the horizontal direction. The Engineer shall electronically print photos to PDF. They shall not be scanned to PDF. The Engineer shall, at a minimum, provide the following photographs for each inspection and place them in the folder:
