Common use of Bonus Amount and Method of Payment Clause in Contracts

Bonus Amount and Method of Payment. Eligible employees hired into a position/classification certified for participation in the Program shall receive no less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) and no more than one-thousand dollars ($1,000.00) upon hire. An additional one thousand dollars ($1,000) shall be paid to the employee upon completion of 26 pay periods in the position/classification for which the original bonus was granted. Employees must code at least seventy-two (72) hours in a pay period in order for it to count toward the 26 pay period requirement. Each bonus payment shall be considered taxable income and subject to withholding.
