Body of Agreement. 16.1 Vacation pay shall be paid at the rate of 10% of an employee's gross wages; such wages shall not include the employer's contributions on behalf of such employee as provided for in Clause 18 of this Appendix and the employer agrees to deduct income tax from the employee's gross wages in respect of any vacation pay contributions submitted on his behalf. The vacation pay period shall be from June 1st to May 31st. CLAUSE 17 - TRAVEL AND BOARD Travel Allowance: Refer to applicable Wage Schedules.
