The Boating clause sets out the rules and responsibilities related to the use of boats or watercraft under the agreement. Boating. Brining your own Dinghies, canoes or other water born vessels is not permitted on the main lake or ponds. Willow View has a strict safety code for the use of boats, (only by specific written permission of the owner) Please refer to the safety leaflet and notices on water safety.
Boating. Boating is a very popular recreational activity that occurs at WEBR. But as with nearly everything else mentioned in this plan, boating fluctuates with reservoir levels. Soon after dedication ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ was one of the more popular recreational areas in the western portion of the state and despite declines in water levels the area continues to be a popular place to recreate. On a Statewide average, boaters spend 59 percent of their time on the water fishing, 17 percent of their time pleasure boating, and 13 percent of their time water skiing. Other boating activities include sailing and jet skiing. Presently the entire reservoir is open to fishing from a boat. The exception being the 200 acres in the waterfowl refuge that is closed to all activities from November 1 to January

Boating. The Unit Owners shall not operate or use any raft, boats or other watercraft on any of the lakes located in the Community.
Boating. 1 Children under 14 years of age are not permitted on wharf-dock facility unless accompanied by an adult. 2 Swimming and diving from wharf-dock facility is strictly prohibited. 3 Moorage and buoy placement arrangements are made by Waterfront Director. 4 Club shore dinghy is only boat permitted to remain on or tied up to the dock. 5 Shore dinghy must be returned to the dock and not left tied to mooring buoys.
Boating. It is the responsibility of the licensed boat operator to brief crew/guests on proper use of equipment and rules established and taught in the on-line instructional/ licensing class and on-the-bay orientation class.
1. Licensed boat operators must complete an MCCS Marina Vessel Rental Agreement (the “Vessel Rental Agreement) (enclosure 4) prior to departing the dock.
2. Licensed boat operators are financially responsible for all damage to MCCS equipment and for the safety and security of their crew/guests during the rental period.
3. Licensed boat operators should be familiar with navigational charts locating reefs and other marine hazards.
4. MCCS Rental Boats are restricted to operation within Kaneohe Bay. Departing Kaneohe Bay in an MCCS rental boat is a default of the Rental Agreement.
5. Each type of boat available for rent has a specific occupancy limit. Patrons will strictly obey the limitation on number of occupants for the boat rented.
6. Licensed boat operators will not leave the dock without proper safety equipment: whistle, anchor, paddle, and an approved life preserver for each person.
7. Licensed boat operators will require all non- swimmers and children under 13 years of age to wear an approved life preserver on the dock and in all boats at all times.
8. All patrons using the Marina outdoor facilities are required to be responsible when consuming alcohol. Pursuant to reference (b), the MCO 1700.39 mandates:
a. Boat operators (motorized and self- powered) will not consume or be under the influence of alcohol during operations of MCCS boats. This includes boats that are underway, anchored, or docked.
b. Alcohol is prohibited aboard MCCS boats at
Boating. This activity is one of the primary uses of the area. The various facilities and opportunities associated with boating are addressed in other sections of this plan.
Boating. All watercraft (boats/trailers/seadoos) brought into Kennisis Lake are to be washed, bilges and live ▇▇▇▇▇ emptied to remove any potential invasive species prior to launch at the lake. You should repeat this procedure after departure (Rentals from Kennisis ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Haliburton Outdoor excluded).
