Boarding. The operator of an FFV signaled for boarding must—
(1) Monitor 2182 kHz (SSB) radio- telephone and channel 16 (156.8 mHz) VHF-FM radiotelephone.
(2) Stop immediately and lay to or maneuver in such a way as to maintain the safety of the FFV and facilitate boarding by the authorized officer and the boarding party or an observer.
(3) Provide the authorized officer, boarding party, or observer a safe pilot ladder. The operator must ensure the pilot ladder is securely attached to the FFV and meets the construction re- quirements of Regulation 17, Chapter V of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), 1974 (TIAS 9700 and 1978 Protocol, TIAS 10009), or a substantially equivalent na- tional standard approved by letter from the Assistant Administrator, with agreement with the USCG. Safe pilot ladder standards are summarized below:
(i) The ladder must be of a single length of not more than 9 m (30 ft), ca- pable of reaching the water from the point of access to the FFV, accounting for all conditions of loading and trim of the FFV and for an adverse list of 15°. Whenever the distance from sea level to the point of access to the ship is more than 9 m (30 ft), access must be by means of an accommodation ladder or other safe and convenient means.
(ii) The steps of the pilot ladder must be—
(A) Of hardwood, or other material of equivalent properties, made in one piece free of knots, having an efficient non-slip surface; the four lowest steps may be made of rubber of sufficient strength and stiffness or of other suit- able material of equivalent character- istics.
(B) Not less than 480 mm (19 inches) long, 115 mm (4.5 inches) wide, and 25 mm (1 inch) in depth, excluding any non-slip device.
(C) Equally spaced not less than 300 millimeters (12 inches) nor more than 380 mm (15 inches) apart and secured in such a manner that they will remain horizontal.
(iii) No pilot ladder may have more than two replacement steps that are secured in position by a method dif- ferent from that used in the original construction of the ladder.
(iv) The side ropes of the ladder must consist of two uncovered manila ropes not less than 60 mm (2.25 inches) in cir- cumference on each side (or synthetic ropes of equivalent size and equivalent or greater strength). Each rope must be continuous, with no joints below the top step.
(v) Battens made of hardwood, or other material of equivalent prop- erties, in one piece and not less than
Boarding. Please refer to Your Charter Summary for the scheduled boarding time and departure time of Your event. City Cruises anticipates the Ship to return to the dock approximately fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled end time. It is expected You shall use this time for disembarkation. In the event You and Your guests have not fully disembarked the Ship within fifteen (15) minutes after the scheduled end time, City Cruises reserves the right to charge You a reasonable overtime charge.
Boarding. Breeding, pregnancy, whelping or nursing.
Boarding. Boarding opens 30 (thirty) minutes prior to departure and closes strictly 15 (fifteen) minutes before departure. Passengers arriving late at the boarding gate will not be accepted for travel, and will be deemed to have missed their flight;
Boarding. Engineers and Conductors who elect to stay with friends/relatives when they would otherwise be required to stay at a hotel/motel will be reimbursed for the amount they pay for lodging up to a maximum of $20.00 per day.
Boarding. Employees who elect to stay with friends/ relatives when they would otherwise be required to stay at a hotel/motel will be reimbursed for the amount they pay their friends/relatives for lodging up to a maximum of $20.00 per day. Employees electing to use personal recreational vehicles for accommodations will be allowed to claim $20.00 per day.
Boarding. Pass Guild Representatives shall be given access to Company property and aboard Company vessels either by checking with the Company office or by possession of a Boarding Pass issued by the Company. It is agreed that these visits will not interfere with the sailing or maintenance of the vessel. At times when the Company offices are not open, permission shall be obtained from the Master of the vessel. It is agreed that the Company assumes no liability for injury to any Officer Representative while he is on Company property.
Boarding. 12.1 You and the Pupil will comply at all times with any school policy made in relation to boarding.
Boarding. 6.3.1. If the Student is enrolled as a Boarder, the Student must remain as Boarder for the duration of their enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing by the School.
6.3.2. Requests to convert from a boarding place to a day place must be made in writing to the Headmaster at least one full term prior to when the change is requested to become effective for boarders in Years 7 to 10, and at least two full terms’ prior to when the change is requested to become effective for boarders in Years 11 and 12.
Boarding. Upon request, the school can arrange accommodation and meals for students, depending on the availability of boarding places. If boarding is requested, then the Tuition Fees and Boarding Fees need to be paid in full before the start of the school year.
