Common use of Board Training Clause in Contracts

Board Training. Within 90 days after the Effective Date, members of the Board shall receive training regarding their responsibilities for corporate governance and review and oversight of the compliance program. The training shall address the specific responsibilities of health care board members, including the risks, oversight areas, and approaches to conducting effective oversight of a health care entity and shall include a discussion of the OIG’s guidance on board member responsibilities. Each member of the Board also shall receive the training described in Section III.C.1.‌
