ROOM CHANGES Room changes may be requested through the housing office. A room change request form must be completed and a $100 processing fee applies. Room changes are not permitted during the “Room Freeze” period (the first four weeks of the contract period). If you are having roommate problems, see your Resident Advisor and try to work things out. Some other options you may try are to rework your roommate contract. If the problem persists, please refer to the Roommate Conflict Resolution Model outlined previously. Explore all possibilities before you request to move. It may be a simple problem that can be solved with some outside help. One tip, don’t let problems fester for too long before you deal with them. BLEACH. The storage of a small amount of bleach as the preferred method of disinfecting a blood spill is permitted. A small amount is defined as one quart. Surfaces which may have been contaminated by blood from emergency medical situations shall be disinfected with sodium hypochlorite (bleach) 1/10 - 1/100 (¼ cup of bleach per gallon of water) solution for at least 10 minutes as soon as feasible after contact.
