Bereavement Day Sample Clauses

The Bereavement Day clause grants employees the right to take leave from work in the event of the death of a close family member or relative. Typically, this clause specifies the number of paid or unpaid days off allowed, defines which relationships qualify (such as immediate family), and may outline any documentation required to support the leave request. Its core function is to provide employees with time to grieve and manage personal affairs without risking their employment or income, thereby supporting employee well-being during difficult times.
