Banking Resolution and Check Signing Authority Clause Samples

The "Banking Resolution and Check Signing Authority" clause establishes which individuals or officers within an organization are authorized to open and manage bank accounts, as well as sign checks and other financial instruments on behalf of the entity. Typically, this clause specifies the process for designating authorized signatories, may require board approval for certain actions, and can outline limits on the amounts that can be signed for without additional authorization. Its core function is to ensure clear internal controls over financial transactions, reducing the risk of unauthorized banking activities and providing banks with formal documentation of who is empowered to act for the organization.
