Average Daily Availability Clause Samples

The Average Daily Availability clause defines how the average operational uptime or accessibility of a service, system, or equipment is measured over a specified period. Typically, this clause outlines the calculation method for determining the percentage of time the resource is available each day, often by dividing the total available hours by the total possible hours in the period. Its core practical function is to set clear performance expectations and benchmarks, ensuring both parties understand the minimum acceptable level of service and providing a basis for accountability or remedies if availability falls short.
