Common use of Association Recognized Clause in Contracts

Association Recognized. The County recognizes the Association as the sole 20 and exclusive bargaining agent, for the purpose of establishing wages, hours and 21 conditions of employment, for all regular, limited duration, and seasonal nurses of Xxxxxx 22 County excluding supervisory and confidential employees as defined in ORS 243.650, and 23 student interns as defined in Section 1.3, and mental health nurses who are members of 24 the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. All references to 25 nurses in the agreement designate both sexes and whenever either gender is used it shall 26 be construed to include both male and female nurses.
