E. Limited Duration Clause Samples

E. Limited Duration employee is hired to perform special studies or 11 projects of uncertain or limited duration, or for replacement of an employee on an 12 extended leave of absence. Such appointments shall be for a stated period no less 13 than six (6) months but not exceeding two (2) years and can expire upon the earlier 14 termination of the special study or projects. Limited Duration employees have all 15 the rights of regular status employees except that they are not entitled to layoff
