Common use of Assistance to the Department Clause in Contracts

Assistance to the Department. 49.3 The Provider must: give full, true and particular information, in respect of any proposal for a policy of insurance (including any policy issued pursuant to any self-insurance scheme of the Commonwealth) to be effected by the Department, of all matters and things the non-disclosure of which might in any way prejudice or affect any policy or the payments of all or any benefits under a policy; and provide all reasonable assistance to the Department, in order to facilitate the Commonwealth making a claim under any insurance policy or self-insurance scheme effected for the Commonwealth’s benefit.
